Body Conditioning / Aerobics.
‘Body Conditioning’ is a 60 minute class that consists of a 10 minute warm-up, followed by 40 minutes of low / high-impact *aerobic activity. There will be a stretching yoga cool-down to finish.The music is lively and uptempo, featuring many disco classics, rock and roll music, and the latest from the charts. There is generally something for everyone.

So who is this class suitable for?
Anyone that likes to keep fit and healthy and keeping their body in good condition for everyday life. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities, as you can tailor the intensity of the class to your own level as your fitness improves. If you like routines that are a bit more creative, 'dancy,' and fun, Body Conditioning is for you.
The Science.
The benefits of aerobic exercise are many. They include reduced cholesterol and blood pressure, improved muscular endurance, reduced body fat and increased metabolism, to name a few. Aerobic activities strengthen the heart and lungs, making them more efficient and durable, improving quality, and quantity of life.
Aerobic exercise improves the strength of your bones, ligaments and tendons, allows your body to use fats and sugars more efficiently, burns lots of calories and plays an important role in reducing the onset and symptoms of aging and illness.
*Explanation - Aerobic exercise is defined as any long duration exercise, of low to moderate difficulty, using the large muscle groups of the body such as the legs, back, gluteals, arms, etc.
